BECOMING RESILIENT – HOW TO SHOW GUTS AND TENACITY
I’ve been recently delivering resilience workshops within the Education sector, which is an area that I am looking to grow. With that in mind, I thought that I would share a few thoughts about what we can all do to improve our resilience to the challenges that life throws our way. The following traits are all vital to developing the toughness required for a resilient spirit.
LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE
So, this week it’s my Grandma’s funeral, and a chance to celebrate her life. She’s the last of that generation within my family to pass on.
My Grandma was born in 1920. It’s fair to say that the world has gone through some big changes since then. In her lifetime, there has been war, peace and everything in between.
DON’T EVER DOUBT YOUR WORTH
When the first shoots of Spring start to come through, it can trigger a re-evaluation in our lives. Thoughts can turn to new starts, fresh perspectives, coming out of darkness into light, and examining our worth.
But what about this re-evaluation? Doing it for its own sake amounts to a nice spot of navel gazing. It is what we do with all this reflection that matters. Do we continue with our old habits that are causing unhappiness? Or do we finally summon the bravery to follow a new path?
WHERE DID YOUR BLOG GO? (OR PRIORITIES, PRIORITIES)
“Where did your blog go, Martin?”, “Is it one of your priorities?”, are questions that you may (or more likely, may not) have been asking yourself these last few months. I may be a Coach but I am still human. This means that I, along with most of you reading this, need to prioritise things in our lives at times. Life has been pretty hectic. Blogging, as well as other activities like business networking, have had to take a bit of a back seat.
